Happy New Year China
iam (immigration and migration) team wish to all Chinese a Happy New Year 2014.
This year for the Lunar New Year will be the Chinese Year of the Horse.
The horse is part of a 12-year-cycle of animals that make up the Chinese zodiac. These interact with the five elements: wood, metal, fire, water, earth. 2014 is the year of the wood horse, taking over from the year of the water snake.
For the Chinese, this is the most important holiday on its calendar, a time to sweep out all the bad luck and open the doors for Lady Luck and good fortune to shine into their lives.
Enjoy!
