France Expands Digital Immigration Services for Foreign Nationals
France has expanded its digital immigration services, making it easier for foreign nationals to complete visa, residence permit, and other immigration procedures online. The changes form part of the government’s wider effort to modernise immigration administration and improve accessibility for international residents, workers, students, and families.
Through digital platforms such as ANEF and France-Visas, applicants can now access a growing number of services without visiting government offices in person. The reforms aim to simplify procedures, reduce paperwork, and create a more efficient immigration experience.
How France’s Digital Immigration Services Are Expanding
The ANEF platform allows eligible foreign nationals to complete a variety of immigration procedures online, including residence permit applications, renewals, visa validations, and personal information updates. This reduces the need for physical appointments and enables applicants to manage their immigration status more conveniently.
France-Visas also continues to support the country’s digital transformation by allowing travellers to determine visa requirements, complete applications, access guidance, and track progress online.
