China Expands Visa-Free Travel to Poland

China has made it easier for travellers from Poland, Australia, and New Zealand by extending visa-free travel until the end of 2025. This initiative, launched in early 2024, is part of a broader plan to welcome more visitors from around the world for business and tourism.

Since the start of 2024, China has gradually rolled out visa-free entry for 11 other European countries and Malaysia. The goal is to foster better exchanges between Chinese citizens and foreigners. This move is expected to boost tourism and business interactions.

From July 1, Polish citizens can travel to China without a visa, joining the ranks of:

  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • France
  • Germany
  • Hungary
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • Luxembourg
  • The Netherlands
  • Spain
  • Switzerland

These nationals can stay in China for up to 15 days for business, tourism, family visits, or transit purposes. For stays longer than 15 days or for other purposes, travellers will still need to apply for a visa.
