Denmark Resumes Working Holiday Visa For Argentinians
The Danish Ministry of Immigration and Integration will be terminating the temporary suspension of the Working Holiday Agreement with Argentina.
Effective 01 October 2022, eligible Argentinian nationals can once again apply for a Danish Working Holiday residence permit.
What is a Working Holiday Scheme
The Working Holiday Visas are used by young people travelling to another country with a work visa for 12 months. With this visa, young travellers will be able to travel while working and generate money to pay for that travel or to generate savings.
In general, those who use these travel and work visas opt for high-intensity seasonal jobs for a limited number of months and then take a break to visit the country at their leisure.
These visas have been around for years, but many of them were suspended during the pandemic. After more than two years, Denmark reopens quotas for young Argentines. Check out which countries offer Working Holiday Visas.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must be between 18 and 31 years old and must hold sufficient funds and health insurance for their duration of stay.
Starting 01 October, the Working Holiday Scheme for Argentine nationals will be subject to a quota of 150 spots per year.
Denmark currently also offers Working Holiday Schemes to citizens of Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, New Zealand, and South Korea, with age and funding requirements varying somewhat per nationality based on the relevant bilateral treaty.
