EU And UK Citizens Can Now Apply For US ESTA Through Smartphones
The United States has announced that all foreigners who can enter the country under the Visa Waiver Program will now be able to apply for an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) directly from their smartphones.
The ESTA Mobile App is available for download on all Android and iOS devices in 24 languages, making it easier for all those who need the document to obtain it.
Travellers entering the United States visa-free under the Visa Waiver Program by air or sea carrier are required to apply for travel authorisation under ESTA.

Through the mobile app, all applicants will be able to initiate their application for ESTA. They will also be able to upload a live selfie video to confirm their identity, scan the image of their passport and confirm it, as well as enter eligibility questions, add personal details, and send the request for ESTA.
Applicants can also edit their profiles and check the status of their application at any time.
It's important to note that the official ESTA website remains fully operational, providing an alternative channel for applicants who may prefer to use a computer or laptop for the application process.
