Several Schengen Visa Application Centres Resumed Work

Several European Union and Schengen Zone visa application centres located in non-EU and Schengen Zone countries have started to offer their services in March after confirming that the epidemiological situation permits such a step to be taken.

Based on the announcement published by the outsourcing and technology company VFS Global, the following EU and Schengen visa application centres located abroad have resumed their work:

Slovenia
Portugal
Germany
Switzerland

Schengen Visa Centres Abroad

Authorities in Slovenia have announced that several visa application centres in India such as Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune and Hyderabad have resumed offering it's services.

In addition, the same source shows that another European country, Portugal, has announced that its visa application centre located in Pune has resumed its services from 14 March 2022.

Germany’s visa application centre in Mongolia has also resumed its operations earlier this month, offering its services every Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm.

Switzerland’s visa application centres located in India also have resumed their work.

“The Switzerland Visa Application Centres in Puducherry and Ahmedabad have resumed operations. The centre in Puducherry operates from 9 am to 1 pm, Monday to Friday. The centre in Ahmedabad operates from 9 am to 2 pm, Monday to Thursday,”

Last year, VFS Global announced that Bulgarian and Belgium visa application centres located in non-EU or Schengen Zone countries also opened their doors to citizens.

Additionally, the company also announced that visa application centres located abroad in Malta, Ireland, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Switzerland and Belgium also resumed their services.
