CONTACT DETAILS:

We will need contact details for the person responsible for meeting the UK Employer’s ongoing reporting & record keeping obligations during the internship. This will include:

ON INTERN’S FIRST DAY AT WORK: Confirming the intern’s arrival to start work in the UK: Providing copies of the UK Employer’s Right to Work Check and the intern’s new UK contact details, within 24 hours of their first day at work.
DURING THE INTERNSHIP: Providing copies of each of the Intern’s payslips each month during the internship AND providing details of any changes to the interns’ circumstances (contact details, remuneration, job role, work location, unauthorised absences etc.)
AT THE END OF THE INTERNSHIP: Confirming the intern’s last day of employment and onward travel booking confirming their departure from the UK prior to their visa expiry date.

FEES:

The Sponsorship Reference Number fee for an internship of less than 6 months is £750+VAT
The Sponsorship Reference Number fee for an internship of 6 months or more is £850+VAT

With the launch of a new Sponsor Management System by the Home Office, Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) will be renamed Sponsorship Reference Numbers (SRN).

NVQ Level 3 National Vocational Qualifications level 3 is a qualification that shows competence that involves the application of knowledge in a broad range of varied work activities performed in a wide variety of contexts, most of which are complex and non-routine. There is considerable responsibility and autonomy and control or guidance of others is often required. (Glossary Term on UK Border Agency website, last updated: 29/02/08)
