Year after year, month after month, week after week, day after day, Trump, Theresa May, and governments around the world are relentlessly creating & strengthening rules, policies, laws that put up barriers to control and prevent people from:
IaM ensures people achieve their global ambitions, travel plans and life goals.
We want to give the freedom of the world back into the hands of people...
people with global ambitions, life goals... people like you and us.
In an industry where immigration has traditionally been looked down upon and migrants have been seen in a negative light, we are a small but fast-growing and forward-looking immigration law firm with a clear vision: to bring back the #wanderlust of travel and to standardise, streamline and make simple the process of travel and getting your travel documents.
We focus on flattening the barriers governments have introduced that delay, cause distress or even prevent the globally ambitious from achieving their goals.
It’s what we do best and are good at ensuring that the globally ambitious (and organisations) realise their dreams of travel and relocation.
We do this by simplifying, streamlining and flattening the barriers to travelling and relocating to another country-- starting with visas, immigration, citizenship and passports.
From there, we offer 360-degree assistance at all the decision points from endpoint to endpoint of travel, student services, recruitment and accommodation services.
Whether for short-term visits or settling in a country, we ensure the globally minded get to where they want to be.
We have an ambitious growth plan to be the world’s leading global immigration, visas and mobility firm.
With the focus on our core countries, we relish the challenge of ensuring that all routes to international travel are flattened and simplified by us.
We are always looking for highly motivated team members that are not afraid of challenges and value the opportunities whilst telling it straight in order to uncover innovations and opportunities.
Following decades of experience in the immigration sector, it’s clear that the restrictive practices and a focus on fees & billing did not place the client at the heart of the process. It also did not focus on getting a successful outcome for clients first. Therefore IaM was founded to change that.
The strengths of the organisation have always been that we see the rules and their limits
and apply them for the benefit of our clients, ensuring our clients' successful outcome.
For success, we aim to be one step ahead. We term this as being ahead of curve…
and it’s part of our ethos and we strive for it to be in our DNA.
At our core, we are “tinkerers” looking at rules, systems and operations and always searching for ways to dissect, take apart and put back together to see how things really work and then, where possible, improve on it.
Whether it’s the law, policies or procedures, our aim to improve serves a purpose to provide opportunities to develop our team members, our organisation and to serve our clients better in achieving their goals of travelling to or staying in a country.
On staring IaM, we decided not to just focus on immigration law and visas because it’s what we do instinctively well. But to make sure that the focus is on our client’s success …. It’s in our DNA to get a successful result for our clients.
As a result, we have been developing our services to include assistance from the point of decision to arriving and settling in a familiar or unfamiliar country. Whether it’s a student going to study in a strange new country, or for work experience, or a professional with a new job offer, we look at all the services we can put in place in order to make the transition a welcome change that prepares the client to hit the ground running so as they can achieve their goals.

Following some head scratching and introspection, we have boiled our beliefs and values as:
To do this, we offer our team members support and learning opportunities as well as continuous opportunities to be great at what we do. Our training and development also focus on unearthing opportunities where team members are encouraged to look for better ways of doing things as well as opportunities to improve clients' lives and their own in the process.
We also encourage team members to practice their craft away from the pressures of work and to pursue areas they find interest in but not necessarily fit within their job scope. With the range of opportunities in the organisation, team members easily find interests in side projects as well as growth opportunities to do great things for themselves, the team at large, the organisation and clients.
Chaos reigns when we don’t anticipate what’s coming up… and that’s not what we want. We all know that if you do something, there are a number of resulting reactions.
We love looking for what is possibly coming round the corner from our actions and putting in plans to ensure that we’ve got our clients covered.
It doesn’t matter if it does not happen… at least we have prepared for it. Being ahead of curve allows us to continually improve and iterate on ourselves and our services.
Hate being on the back foot?... We’re always asking: ‘what next?’... Are you the next?
Getting to the heart of the matter is where honest conversations can happen. It opens up a confidence to find innovations.
Being confident to speak your mind helps us to get to where the real innovations are. It helps us uncover issues that clients are not aware of that actually help their applications. It allows us to be confident to state to our clients that they don’t have a chance to achieve what they want. We even find that by just doing that, it then opens up a conversation as to what can be done.
Finally, it allows us to be able to see when and where we can add value to ourselves, our team members and the organisation as a whole.
Being family, we encourage you to feel at home and have the confidence to voice your opinions about what we do and how we do it. It’s a natural extension of our values.
This feeling of family extends to our clients where we try to foster a culture where we welcome clients into our office, even just for a coffee and a chat. Therefore being a team player is something we look for in welcoming you to the family.
It may not be the first thing you think of from a law firm but we help people to overcome the barriers and the effort required to travel or settle in a new place. That journey should be a fun and rewarding experience. Therefore, we also encourage you to do the same.
As a fast-growing small team, we encourage you to exceed at your work and do exactly what our clients are doing... travel for business and pleasure. We don’t just want your work ethic, we also want you to shape our organisation and bring your personality with you.
Are you goal oriented? Love the feeling that comes when you look back and see what you have achieved… and getting rewarded for it? Then working with us is definitely for you.
Our organisation is predicated on getting results. Whether it's for our clients or our weekly, quarterly and yearly goals, each team member is aligned with what we are trying to achieve. But these goals are not just a top-down set of results we are looking for, but each member of our team is involved in co-creating and putting together our goals and set plans as to how we achieve them.
Whether you think out of the box or believe in the established ways of operations, there are always innovations to be found. New ways of doing things are not always the best but we need to embrace it and decide whether it’s good for us or not.
From our consultants, our team members, our clients and even our regulators, we have always been remarked as cutting edge. This feeds straight into our philosophy of being ahead of curve. Therefore we are always looking for team members that help us to get ahead of curve and relish exploring ways to do things better… constantly.
Our aggressive growth targets present amazing opportunities for growth. Whether you are looking to deepen your area of expertise or looking to learn new skills and take on new and exciting responsibilities that open up a whole new world of opportunities, then you will not find a better fit.
If you are not committed to learning and improving, even in your area of expertise, then you need not apply. We look for and encourage people that are on a journey to improve, enjoy and grow themselves, our clients and our organisation.
Whether it’s clients, organisational goals, external factors, we relish the opportunity to work through a challenge and come through the other side as victorious. This is not rocket science… it’s immigration law and we rise or fall by our weakest link. Therefore, as part of your work, you are encouraged and expected to practice your craft and even other elements that are not obviously considered as related. Check out how we think about challenges in this TED talk.
We also hate to be the ‘ball and chain’ to your life and commitments. We’ve all experienced it before and it’s so wrong when you are looked upon in a funny way when you’re just not an early riser. Whether you have other commitments or have a certain preference, let’s talk and incorporate it into your work patterns.
Because of our philosophies, we expect you to be responsible for your times and managing your availability. But that does not mean flaking off. It just means that we should all be in agreement as to times and availability.
Ok, so there are loads of growth opportunities and challenging work. Therefore we are always asking our staff to upgrade their skills and improve what they already know.
We, therefore, have a strong belief in helping and assisting our team to develop and grow and have instilled a learning culture that provides the environment to achieve personal and professional development.
Work for and with some of the most inspired and ambitious people and we want to foster and attract such people that are also hungry to learn and develop themselves.
