Diversity Visa 2025 Registration Is Now Closed
The registration for the 2025 Diversity Visa, also known as the Green Card Lottery, has wrapped up. The final day to register for a 2025 Diversity Visa application is Nov. 7.
The Diversity Visa programme permits nationals of countries with low US immigration rates to register for the opportunity to apply for a US immigration visa.
For the 2025 fiscal year, the US Department of State will make up to 55,000 green card numbers available through random selection.
Selected winners will be eligible to apply for a green card during the fiscal year 2025, which begins on October 1, 2024.
Results will be published starting May 4, 2024, through at least September 30, 2025, on the official DV lottery entry status website.
The lucky lottery winners will be chosen at random. Successful registrants will be provided a confirmation number, that they can use to check their status on the e-DV website. The State Department does not contact applicants via letter, e-mail, fax, or phone.
The official website is the only legitimate source of lottery results.
