Standard Visit Visa

Visas, Immigration & Nationality

Visiting the UK on a Standard Visitor Visa?:

  • You want to visit the UK for leisure, for example as a tourist on holiday;
  • You’re from outside the EEA (European Economic Area) or Switzerland.

You can come to the UK, as a tourist, for up to six months in any one visit. Generally, the application should be straight forward but there are many pitfalls in submitting your tourist visit visa application that you want to avoid.

Tips: If you have been granted a tourist visa 2 or 3 times before, your chances of being granted a Visit Visa to the UK increases. Additionally, your chances of success again increase if you have travelled to Tier 1 countries such as the US, UK, France, Belgium, Canada and a select few other countries.

Whether this is your first, 10th or you have been refused, iam’s experienced lawyers are here to ensure your application is straight forward and that your visa is granted.

To start your application, please complete our Free Immigration Assessment form and the Initial Immigration Enquiry or alternatively, book a free visit visa immigration consultation.
